COMMUNITY MEETING & SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY IS THIS FRIDAY 12/1

Join us in the auditorium this Friday, December 1, 2023, at 8:15am for a Community Meeting.

This Friday is also school spirit day theme: grade colors! Check for messaging from your teachers on your grade’s color and don it to show your school pride!

MCC TOY DRIVE IS UNDERWAY!

The Making Caring Common Student Council is hosting a 3rd Street Elementary Toy Drive to benefit the Koreatown Youth + Community Center. We will be collecting toys from 11/27/2023 through 12/6/2023.

If you are able to donate, please bring new, unwrapped toys for kids ages 0-10 years old and drop them in the donation box at the main school entrance.

**Please no toy guns, make-up, clothing or shoes.**

WINTER FAMILY NIGHT THURSDAY 12/7/2023 4:30-8PM

Plan to join us for a fun night of extended book fair hours, crafts, and more, followed by a special performance by our very own Third Street Choir.

BOOK FAIR 2023 IS NEXT WEEK, AND WE NEED YOU!

Third Street's Book Fair is back December 4-8 and our PTA needs parent volunteers to staff the fair during its week-long run. Find a shift (or three or four!) that work for you and come out to enjoy how much our Third Street kids love the book fair. Besides being open before and after school, classes visit during regular school hours, so we need helpers throughout the day. And on Thursday, December 7th, Book Fair will stay open late for Winter Family Night. It's a major volunteer effort! Sign up here!

GOT GAME WINTER CAMP

When school is OUT this Winter break, Got Game Camp is IN! Registration is OPEN for the popular day camp in our area, right here at 3rd Street, built for ALL types of campers!

Camp runs 9am-3:30pm (with extended care available 8am-5pm)! Campers enjoy wide and diverse range of options from active games, tons of sports, projects, creative outlets, performances and SO much more!

MCC STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS ARE THERE TO SUPPORT STUDENTS

The Making Caring Common Student Council members will be wearing gold hats throughout the school days so they can be easily identified and recognized on campus. Please let your students know to look for the gold hats if they need a friend, someone to talk to, or help with anything.

Traffic Safety Volunteers wanted - Traffic Safety Valet Sign Up is encouraged for our 1st through 5th grade families. Each slot is only for 20 minutes and helps our drop offs go smoothly and safely, and enables our school's aides to be on campus helping our students get to class.
